Barre on the Sound

Start your morning with a refreshing one-hour Barre class on the CCC dock overlooking the sound!  In collaboration with Downtown Barre Studio of MHC, this unique waterfront workout blends strength, balance, and flexibility with beautiful views and fresh coastal air.  Join us on Wednesday mornings throughout September and make your morning move!

Guitar Now! Get Comfortable with Your Guitar and Start Playing!

Ready to pick a guitar and start playing?  Guitar Now is a beginner-friendly method developed by Patrick Smith, a retired music educator, guitar instructor, and local musician. His approach is designed to help you feel comfortable with your guitar and begin playing quickly.

Classes will provide a relaxed and supportive environment to learn, practice, and build your confidence.

Students will need a guitar. A nylon string "classical" style guitar is recommended, but not required, along with a guitar tuner.  Free tuner apps are available for smartphones.

Dance:  Intro to Ballroom

Step onto the dance floor and shine! Discover the grace of the Waltz and Foxtrot, the passion of the Tango and Rumba, and the lively energy of the Cha-Cha. Whether you're a seasoned toe-tapper or trying ballroom dance for the very first time, this fun and beginner-friendly class is sure to get you moving. No partner or experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm and get ready for an unforgettable time. Perfect for couples, friends, or anyone who loves music and movement! ($50)

Life Enrichment class topics offered are based on community input and range in skill levels from beginner to advanced. Classes can take place in one session or span several weeks. Please note: Life Enrichment classes cannot be used for credit toward any of the college’s degree programs.
Life Enrichment class registration fees vary and there are no fee exemptions for these self-supporting classes. If for any reason a student cannot successfully complete the class, he or she will need to register again at their own expense. Registrants may receive a full refund if a Life Enrichment class is canceled prior to the start date due to low enrollment, or the student withdraws from the class before the start date.
